Tom Swirly played multiple roles in Speak of the Devil, an avant-garde cabaret-style musical written and directed by Jeremy Halpern which followed the adventures of The Devil throughout history.

A highlight of the show was a song named God Sux, written for Mr. Swirly in the role of Semyaza, the first devil to rebel again god, which in which he channeled Johnny Rotten in a deconstructed version of the Ten Commandments.
